Her practice focuses on regulatory counseling in matters such as natural gas transportation and distribution, electricity generation, transmission and distribution, hydrocarbons and sanitation services, including participation in tariff-related procedures, sanctioning proceedings brought by the Regulatory Body, specific legal consultations on industry regulations or contract interpretation, legal support in private investment promotion processes, among others. She has been a counsel at Miranda & Amado since 2013, having joined the firm as an associate in 2010. From 2007 to 2009, she was a legal advisor to the Senior Management and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Energy and Mining Investment Supervisory Body – OSINERGMIN. From 2004 to 2007, she was a legal advisor to the Senior Management of the Superintendence of Sanitation Services – SUNASS. From 2003 to 2004, Marifé also served at the Ombudsman’s Office for the Defense of Financial Clients. Marifé is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Utilities Regulations from the same institution. She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
