Her professional practice focuses on legal advice in environmental law to companies across a range of sectors, as well as administrative sanctioning law and regulation in natural resources, mining and energy. She has been an associate of Miranda & Amado since 2015. Sandra is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú with Second Major Degree in Environmental Law and Natural Resources from the aforementioned university (2017), and LL.M in Energy and Environmental Law at the University of Birmingham, UK (2023). Likewise, she has a Postgraduate Certificate in Mining Environmental Law from Instituto de Ciencias de la Naturaleza, Territorio y Energías Renovables – INTE PUCP (2018); a Diploma as a "Supervisor of Safety, Occupational Health and Environment" and a Diploma as "Internal Auditor ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018" (SSOMA) from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (2020); a Postgraduate Diploma in Electricity Regulation from Universidad ESAN (2021); and a Postgraduate Diploma in Renewable Energy from Universidad del Pacífico (2022). She has been a member of Asociación Civil Ius Inter Gentes and is a member of Peru Young Energy Professionals – PYEP and Women in Energy – SPE Lima Section. She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
