Miranda & Amado recognized in Latin Lawyer’s “Elite Firms of 2017”

Miranda & Amado, a Peruvian law firm member of the Affinitas Alliance, has once again been recognized by being included in “Elite Firms of 2017”, a list issued by renowned international publication Latin Lawyer.

The list profiles the top 40 Latin American law firms whose work excels in core areas such as service offer, institutional strength, international outlook, financial health, and social responsibility in the region.  Only three Peruvian law firms made the elite group.

Miranda & Amado stood out because of the international experience of its lawyers and the quality of their transactional work, as well as its gender diversity and talent management practices.  This recognition underscores the law firm’s solid governance model, which enables the youngest partners at the firm to become involved in decision-making processes at the onset of their careers, while exposing them to the international market.

The publication particularly highlights the firm’s ability to attract the best young talent.

It should be noted that Affinitas, an alliance of leading Pacific Alliance law firms, was the only legal network, among many in the region, to have all of its members profiled among the 40 elite firms.  In addition to Miranda & Amado, Affinitas member law firms include Colombia’s Gómez-Pinzón Zuleta, Chile’s Barros & Errázuriz and Mexico’s Mijares Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes.
