His professional practice focuses on Antitrust, Compliance, IT Forensics, Merger Control and Administrative Law, having taken part in some of the most important Antitrust cases carried out in Perú in the past years. He joined the firm as a senior associate in 2023. Previously, he worked at the National Directorate of Investigation and Promotion of Free Competition of Indecopi as Legal Coordinator (2021 – 2022), Chief of the Ex-Oficio Investigation Unit (2018-2020), Leader of the Investigation Unit (2015 – 2018) and Cartels Investigator (2013-2014), and at Muñiz, Ramírez, Pérez-Taíman and Olaya Law Firm (2013). Waldo is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru, where his thesis received the Law Faculty Award, and holds an LL.M. degree from New York University, having received the Dean’s Graduate Award (Donald L. Brown Fellow) granted by New York University and the Bicentenary Generation Scholarship granted by Pronabec. He has been a speaker at several forums and conferences for national and foreign government agencies. He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
