His professional practice focuses on legal advisory in individual and collective labor relations, collective bargaining, direct and indirect hiring, disciplinary procedures, occupational health and safety at worl, labor tax; as well as in labor inspections and administrative procedures. Luis has been a Counsel at Miranda & Amado since 2019 and Partner since 2024, he joined the firm as an Associate in 2013. Prior to that, he worked at Ernst & Young (2011 – 2013), at Berninzon, Benavides, Fernández & Vargas Law Firm (2010 – 2011), at Lazo, de Romaña & Gagliuffi Law Firm (2009 – 2010), at Técnicas Metálicas Ingenieros S.A.C. (2007-2009) and at Unión de Cervecerías Peruanas Backus y Johnston S.A.A. (2006-2007). Luis is a Lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú with a Master in Employment Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues (Madrid, Spain) and a Specialization in Management, Strategy and Human Resources at CENTRUM – Business School of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He constantly participates in seminars and conferences in his specialty, for universities and organizations such as the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, APERHU, ILO, Lima Chamber of Commerce, among others. He has been professor in the Advanced Specialization Program in Employment Law of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He is professor in the Specialization for Executives Program in ESAN Graduate School of Business. He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
