We have appointed Felipe Gamboa as Director of Legal Innovation, a position from which he will spearhead the Firm’s digital transformation process and its currently implemented Legal Tech initiatives.

Felipe has been very much involved in innovation topics, which he brought into play while in his previous position as Senior Associate in Miranda & Amado’s labor practice and as a member of the Firm’s Innovation Committee, launched two years ago. From there, he encouraged Miranda & Amado to be the first Peruvian law firm to participate and win a hackathon organized by Laboratoria and contributed to strategic projects such as the implementation of telecommuting and knowledge management.

In addition, Felipe has been certified as a Legal Project Practitioner by the International Institute of Legal Project Management and is co-founder of the Peruvian chapter of Legal Hackers, an entity that seeks to transform the practice of law through technology worldwide.

This week, the new Director of Legal Innovation is to represent Peru at the Legal Hackers International Summit to be held in New York and to participate in the 2019 Harvard Legal Technology Symposium in Boston.

“We are convinced that technology contributes to providing a better service to our clients and, at the same time, it is an opportunity to walk them through their own digital transformation processes,” said Alberto Delgado, Managing Partner of our law firm.

Felipe Gamboa earned his law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and studied a Master of Science with emphasis in Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics. He also serves as a professor of the Legal Management course in the Business Law Master’s Degree program at PUCP.
