Miranda & Amado Abogados has acted as deal counsel for the issuance of PEN 200 million leasing bonds by BBVA Banco Continental though a public offering in Peru made on January 12, 2017 under its Second Program of Leasing Bonds registered with the Peruvian capital markets agency. BBVA Banco Continental acted as arranger and Continental Bolsa SAB as placement agent.
The proceeds of the aforementioned offering will be exclusively used to finance BBVA Banco Continental’s leasing operations.
The demand for the leasing bonds exceeded PEN 284 million, therefore, it highly surpassed the offered amount offered and finally placed. The interest rate was set at 6.03125%.
