Jose Daniel Amado has been appointed as a member of the Court of Arbitration of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre

We are proud to announce that our partner, José Daniel Amado, has been appointed as a member of the Court of Arbitration of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) for the period June 2021 to December 2022. SIAC has an outstanding track record of providing high-quality arbitration services to the global community, including Australia, China, India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada, among many other jurisdictions. In addition, SIAC was recently named the preferred arbitral institution in the Asia-Pacific region and ranked 2nd worldwide, according to the 2021 International Arbitration Survey conducted by Queen Mary University of London and White & Case: click here

Amado is one of the three lawyers from Latin America to join the SIAC Court of Arbitration during the current term. His appointment comes less than a year after the SIAC Americas New York Office Launch (click here) and almost concurrently with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between SIAC and the Santiago Arbitration and Mediation Centre (CAM Santiago), one of the leading arbitration centers in the region (click here).
