Her professional practice is focused on structuring, negotiating and implementing transactions related to mergers, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations, as well as commercial and corporate law. Her advisory work also includes the incorporation and operation of companies and associations, as well as the drafting and review of commercial contracts and related registry matters. She has been an associate of Miranda & Amado since 2017. María Teresa is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), with a specialization in Commercial and Corporate Law. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has been an adjunct professor of the Corporations course at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and is an extraordinary member of Thēmis, a Law Students’ Association of the same university. She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
