His practice is focused on dispute resolution, either through negotiations or representation in arbitration proceedings, as well as in civil, constitutional, and administrative litigation. In 2022, he worked as an International Associate at the New York offices of Chaffetz Lindsey LLP. He joined the firm as an Associate in 2018. Previously, he was a Partner at Priori & Carrillo Abogados (2007–2017). Carlos is a Lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and holds a Master’s Degree from Queen Mary University of London. He is currently a professor in the Law Department at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where he has taught various procedural law courses. He is a regular speaker at conferences on procedural law and arbitration, the author of several articles in specialized legal journals, and co-author of a book on procedural law. He is a member of the Ibero-American Institute of Procedural Law and its Working Group on Collective Proceedings. He is also listed as an arbitrator at the Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce and serves as Queen Mary University of London’s Ambassador in Peru.
