ANA CLAUDIA AVELLANEDA

Her professional practice focuses on legal advice in Administrative Law and economic and market regulation, with a special emphasis on the elimination of bureaucratic barriers. She also has extensive experience in consulting, litigation, and various administrative proceedings related to competition law (both sanctioning procedures and merger control), unfair competition, consumer protection, and personal data protection. She joined the firm as an Associate in 2021. Ana Claudia holds a Law degree from Universidad de Piura, where she graduated with the highest distinction (summa cum laude) and received a recommendation for publication of her academic research. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Administrative Law and Public Administration at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). In addition, she holds a Diploma in Administrative Sanctioning Law from the University of Valladolid, Spain. She previously worked at the Bureaucratic Barriers Elimination Commission of INDECOPI (2017–2019) and served as a teaching assistant for the course on Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers and Regulatory Quality at Universidad del Pacífico. Her native language is Spanish, and she is fluent in English.
