Join the 2016 Pro Bono Challenge

Only one week left to go!

Law students in Peru have until next Wednesday 28 to submit social impact initiatives that can be solved from a legal standpoint, and participate in the 2016 Pro Bono Challenge.

This important contest is organized annually by the Peruvian Pro Bono Alliance, an institution whose purpose is to foster the provision of free quality legal services for people living in poverty and to organizations aiding vulnerable populations.

Projects submitted must guarantee the effective protection of rights of people or groups of individuals whose legal needs have not been met, and contribute to changing this situation through the solidary practice of law. The organization’s lawyers will choose 10 project finalists to be assessed by an international jury who will ultimately select the winner of this edition and implement the initiative.

The Pro Bono Alliance comprises a network of over 15 lawyer organizations and 110 civil society organizations which are committed to improving the conditions of access to justice.  As a member of the Pro Bono Alliance, Miranda & Amado is committed to achieving this goal and actively participates in its initiatives.  We believe that pro bono work helps us build a more just and equitable society.
