Miranda & Amado Wins Peru Tax Firm of the Year
Miranda & Amado was honored by the International Tax Review as Peru’s Tax Firm of the Year at the 12th annual Americas Tax Awards, held in New York City on September 14, 2017.
M&A earned this award as recognition for the quality of its work, particularly on complex cases, such as advising Duke Energy and Vinci Highways on major deals and transactions, or successfully winning controversial tax disputes for Laureate Education Inc. subsidiaries Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) and Universidad Privada del Norte (UPN).
“This award strengthens the tax team’s commitment, and that of the entire firm, to providing services of the highest quality while maintaining the highest standards of excellence,” said Rocío Liu, M&A partner leading the firm’s Tax & Customs practice area.
