Miranda & Amado is the only Peruvian law firm included in the GAR 100
• The ninth edition of the guide, specialized in arbitration, highlights the experience of Miranda & Amado
Recently, the prestigious publication Global Arbitration Review published the ninth edition of its GAR 100 guide, which includes the best law firms, worldwide, in arbitration. Miranda & Amado appears as the only Peruvian representative (excluding those firms with offices in other countries).
The guide mentions that Miranda & Amado is “one of the very few Peruvian firms to have acquired an international arbitration profile (…) the firm achieved some early successes in the 2000s (…) But it really made its mark acting for Duke Energy in the first (and, to date, only) successful ICSID claim against Peru.”
Jose Daniel Amado is also mentioned, stating that he “has been instrumental in developing Miranda & Amado’s market-leading reputation in international arbitration, corporate and mergers and acquisitions practices.”
