All the members of Affinitas are included in Latin Lawyer Elite 2015

• The four firms of the alliance have been recognized among the best in the region

Besides including Miranda & Amado, the Latin Lawyer Elite 2015 also mentions the firms Barros & Errázuriz, en Chile; Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, en México; y Gómez-Pinzón Zuleta, en Colombia. Es decir, todos los miembros de Affinitas están entre los mejores de la región.

About Barros & Errázuris, the publication says that it is “one of Chile’s heavyweights, and it recognises lawyers are not natural managers, so it has a professional structure. (…) The evalution system for associates factors in pro bono work, reason why the firm is a clear leader in this field: one of its managing partners leads Chile’s pro bono foundation.”

“The Colombian firm’s leaders may have a light management style, but they pay close attention to all aspects of law firm management”, says Latin Lawyer about Gómez-Pinzón Zuleta. “The firm is also notable for the leading role it plays in Colombia’s pro bono community”.

Finally, the publication mentions that “Mijares Angoitia was one of the first firms in the region to wake up to the rise of the multilatinas, and has been part of the region’s leading law firm alliance (Affinitas) since its inception, and has helped shape its direction over the years (…) with its four members committing to further integrate their client facing services and make a play for China.”
